Instead of having to take a ticket from the ticket machine in order to queue up, the presence of the LightLine product allows an end-user to send an SMS message to the system as a request for queue reservation (QR). In return he will obtain a SMS queue ticket. The user could also go to the service provider’s web site to choose the desirable queue at a site, enter his mobile phone number, and obtain a SMS queue ticket of that queue.

When the queue number is about to be called, the system will send another SMS to tell this user to come now in order to arrive for the service just in time.

In this way, the presence of the LightLine products enables a service organization’s customers, the end-users, to avoid spending time waiting in the queue. Instead, they are free to do their work, carry out shopping, or take a break at a café.
